Yeah, I know. You're curious.

This site allows me to create shorter URLs for the articles on thesitewizard.com, thefreecountry.com and howtohaven.com.

I need it for certain services that give me only a limited number of characters for URLs, and in case you didn't notice, "www.thesitewizard.com" has an awful lot of characters. 21 characters for the name alone, and I haven't even counted the article filename and directory!

I know I can use one of the many free web redirection services around for that. But I prefer to control my own URLs. That way, I don't have to worry about a free service closing on me.

That's all there is to it. Nothing mysterious. Sorry to disappoint you.
